We’re seeking a limited number of individuals to serve as volunteers at Architecture Exchange East. In exchange for your service, you can attend ArchEx for free on the day(s) you help out. Architecture Exchange East takes place at the Greater Richmond Convention Center on Nov. 5-7, 2014. Find out more at www.archex.net.
Positions:
Seminar Monitor: Seminar Monitors make sure attendees sign in for the seminar, answer questions, and introduce the speakers. Of course, you’re welcome to sit in on the seminar to earn learning units. We try to match monitors with their preferred sessions, but can’t always guarantee you’ll get your first choice.
Exhibit Hall Assistant: As the name implies, these volunteers assist in the Exhibit Hall. You’ll check badges and perform other tasks necessary for the successful management of the Hall.
Presentation Stage Monitor: These volunteers keep track of the time a presenter is on stage and giving a signal when their time is almost up. You’ll also help presenters with the microphone. (Don’t worry — we’ll show you how it works!)
General Helper: These volunteers run errands, collect seminar envelopes, help at the registration desk, escort speakers to their presentation rooms, etc.
Volunteers are expected to commit to a minimum of one full day in order to receive the complimentary conference registration.
While we try to accommodate all requests, you’ll be assigned to positions where we have the need. You must fulfill your entire commitment to receive complimentary conference registration.
Volunteer slots are extremely limited and are filled on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested, please contact us right away.
