K O P Architects P C (KOPA) was formed in 1992 by Harold E. (Hal) Downing, AIA. For over twenty-five years, KOPA has provided professional services to public and private clients throughout Virginia. We are known as a high quality, production oriented firm. Our emphasis is on budget and schedule control from inception through completion of each and every project.
KOPA concentrates its practice on three main areas; architecture, space planning and project management. Our clients include Virginia Commonwealth University, VCU Health, Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Corrections, FeedMore, Department of Veterans Affairs, Virginia Community College System, and many others.
